Finishing up !

Complete YMA646 and once you have taxied back to the ramp and completed the shutdown procedure you've successfully completed your first flight assignment with Compass Airlines. Now you need to complete all the paperwork and get going on your regular Compass flights.

The Flight Report Form is available from elsewhere on the web site. You can fill this in for both YMA645 and YMA646.  Compass reports flight times in hours and tenths of an hour, so 1 hour 6 minutes is 1.1 hour, similarly 1 hour 36 minutes is 1.6 hours. Only record whole tenths of an hour, 1 hour 29 minutes is 1.4 not 1.5 hours.  The time for the flight is the time from start up to shut down.  You will also need to give details of the fuel consumption for the flight and optionally details of the weather, departure and approach information and other significant information.

Next steps ...

Your next task is to get a copy of the Compass schedules.  You can then use those to choose your first regular Compass service. Remember that only your hours on the Embraer count towards your first promotion. There you have to choose between Airbus and Boeing and transfer to either the A320 or the B737. The range of flights that you can operate is pretty varied, and that our EQV policy means that you can also fly the Embraer on a large range of routes usually operated by the B737/A320
